Entensys and Avira announced a new technical partnership. This partnership allows the developers of both corporations to unite their efforts and work on an additional SAVAPI-based antivirus protection. This new option will be available for users of UserGate Mail Server and UserGate Proxy&Firewall.
Integrated into Entensys solutions, these mechanisms of antivirus protection will provide malware scanning of traffic at the server level, thereby providing significantly improved and more reliable security for organizations. The modules will support various protocols, including those for email.
The Avira module will be available as an option* for UserGate Mail Server, corporate email service, and UserGate Proxy&Firewall, UTM solution. Solutions by Kaspersky Lab and Panda Security have already been integrated into Entensys products before.
